This year's Regency dress.
With an anachronistic hairclip and a Monet painting in the background. Oh dear..

Well, there's a story to this one. A friend of mine found this painting, and another friend jumped on the bandwagon of telling me I needed to make the dress. A while later I ended up at a fabric store, happened to see some green and gold sari fabric that resembled the picture, and in a very boring and anti-social three days made the thing.
You really can't tell from this photo that it is based on one from the painting, but anyway... maybe 'll put up more pictures later.
