Just my new c1780 gown, to be worn to a Christmas party this weekend. I need to take in the back seem a bit more so it fits my shoulders better, and I would like to add silk ribbon trim to the sleeves. I also need a poofier hairstyle

Note The photo is of a terrible quality because it was taken this evening in my closet. I was practicing things I could do with my hair this weekend, and spontaneously got a picture.

As you can tell my hair didn't turn out so well on the actual day of the party... it turned into some pseudo-Victorian thing.
I'm not wearing real stays in this picture, I'm wearing a costume corset that I bought years ago for Halloween. The other picture shows what the gown looks like with my actual stays.
