Just the side view... you can actually tell I'm wearing stays in this one. Also you can see the awesome shape of my hat! On that note, there will be a new, smaller hat with blue ribbon decoration coming later to match the gown... but not yet.

There's still time

If you need to make a new regimental coat for yourself, the sheer expense of having to buy one may prompt you to learn to make it yourself! That's what happened to me with the stays... and the gowns... and several coats

Hmmm... That would be one heck of an undertaking but it would be a really neat project to do! I'm awfully tempted to actually make myself a dress or something vaguely resembling it but I've had trouble finding the right fabric
